We thought it was time to give you a little update as to what we have been up to here at the Arun View these past few days.
The Environment Agency and contractors are at work on the main restaurant where you can see further details in our last post which shows the removal of the windows and the pub looking slightly different to how you would normally see it on a sunny June day. Whilst all this construction is taking place on the outside it gives us a chance to think about some changes inside, we have been gathering samples of carpets, paint, flooring and outside boarding.
Now the challenge begins for us and time to make some decisions about which colours, fabrics and styles we would like for the refurbishment. Don’t worry we still plan to keep the same charm to the pub just a splash of the new thrown in here and there.
Here are some snaps to give you a sneak peak at some of the options we are considering.
Lets start with the outside, cedral weatherboard, but which colour?
Now lets step inside and have little look at carpet and wooden flooring options.
Another important decision is the colour palette for the interior so faced with plenty of colour choices we will certainly be trying out a few samples to see which works best inside the Arun View.
Decisions, decisions decisions…
